So why is it so hard? I have a million excuses on why its hard but how many of them are really valid.. Probably 5% or less.
I mean I know what I need to do and I have started it but yet something little unhealthy devil sits heavily on my shoulder and whispers sweet and fattening nothings to me "fast food, chips, Southern food" and so on.
Then there is the "sit on my butt" devil that sits on my other shoulder that says "Hey! Video games are fun! Watch more tv! surf the net for hours!"
I need to find my food and fitness angels that those devils are sitting on and set them free!!
Yesterday I walked over 4 miles /pats back though my time sucked but its a start. 2 years ago I could walk 4 miles in 60 minutes and yesterday it was 4.25 miles in 78 minutes. Not bad but not great.

Fi,nice to see you back. Don't beat yourself up it happens to the best of us. Me too. Gained 30lbs during my break from blogging, but lost most of it again after a year of trying. Although i feel it creeping back on again. It so hard isn't it the older we get. Nature's cruel joke on women. You did great with that walk.

And for sure on the getting older...Grrrr I need a redo on the last 10 years in certain areas of my life..including the healthier living part :)
Oh, I am exactly the same! I *know* that I should do it and *know* I'll feel better if I do. It's just the doing it that's the hard part.
