GREEN MONSTER

I dont have a picture as it was early in the morning and I was still a bit cranky but I made my first "Green Monster" smoothie this morning

Verdict: DELICIOUS!!

What I used:

1.5 cups of Blue Diamond Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 cup of strawberries
1 banana
1/2 overripe mango that needed to be used up
2 cups of organic baby spinach

Even hubby said it was drinkable so I guess he'll try and have a cup once or twice a week too.

Tomorrow I'll make one with some overripe nectarines and a banana with the baby spinach and see how that goes..I really need to pick up some more fruit.

I'll make sure to have my camera in the kitchen so I can take a picture tomorrow!!!

I'm going to have to try your measurements for the green monster. I used the same stuff (minus the mango) as yours but mine I didn't like at all. :-(

As for your question on my blog. As you know I've only been doing WW now (as a vegetarian) for almost two weeks. I have to say though, that I really don't find it harder from when I wasn't and doing the program. WW is all about calculating points. You can eat whatever you like just as long as you are within your target point limit. I'd say it's very vegetarian friendly that way.

When you join WW (and go to the meetings) they give you a two week free membership to e-tools. I've never used this though. I have joined the message boards in the past though and they are free. You find great people there who can give great tips.

Anyway, I hope this answers your questions!

Sounds great Fi! I love green smoothies too! It's great getting that spinach, etc. in without even tasting it! :)
